Medtech32 updates and FAQs

ACC is changing its external API gateway to allow ACC to offer products that are in line with its strategic direction. Due to this change, from 31 March 2025 Medtech32 practices will no longer be able to connect to ACC. The ACC API gateway manages external ACC products integrated with the Medtech PMS and is not a change designed or implemented by Medtech. See the ACC website for details about the change. 

Due to this technical ACC change, from 31 March 2025 Medtech32 practices will no longer be able to connect to ACC and will not be able to submit ACC claims or invoices or complete any of the functions listed below:

• Submit Invoices for any ACC subsidies through to ACC (Electronic e-Schedule Claims (ACC47e)
• Lodge a Claim for ACC (ACC45)
• Submit Medical Certificates to ACC (ACC18)
• Submit Change of Diagnosis Forms to ACC
• Receive Error Messages that are related to Authentication with the ACC services (such as Invalid or Expired Digital Certificates, or Keys)

Medtech Evolution will have the functionality to connect to the MuleSoft API Gateway and Evolution customers will not be impacted by this ACC change. Medtech is upgrading all affected Medtech32 customers to Evolution at no charge. Simply book a date to upgrade before 31 December 2024. Book your date now.

Upgrading to Evolution will keep your practice connected to ACC and offer a host of performance and functionality improvements for your practice.

Your upgrade to Evolution will be fully supported by our Implementation and Training teams from kick-off through to go live, and you will have ongoing access to our new Evolution online Learning Library. Your monthly fees won’t change either, the monthly licence fees for Medtech32 and Medtech Evolution are the same.
