The RMFS Update2 (July 2014) addresses the Derived Fee calculation issue which occurs if there are more than 7 patients seen.  If the number of patients seen were above this number, then the Derived Fee amount would reset to a zero amount.  Please run this update if you are experiencing any issues with invoicing using Derived Fees.

IMPORTANT NOTE

An issue had been identified where derived fee calculations, such as home visit items are not calculating properly after installing the original release of MBS Update (01 November 2013).  This issue was caused by unexpected/unintentional changes in the MBS source data that was supplied by DoHA, but unfortunately the software vendors had not been notified by DoHA abo ut these changes.

For sites who had already installed the original release:

• You MUST INSTALL MBS Update (01 November 2013 – Release 2).

For sites who did not install the original release:

• If your practice requires the new Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) items, you can simply install MBS Update (01 November 2013 – Release 2).
