Geoffrey Sayer

Geoffrey Sayer

Geoffrey Sayer is a thirty-year veteran of Health IT across Australia and New Zealand.

He has held leadership and executive management roles in HCN (now Medical Director), HealthLink, Telstra Health, Toniq and Clanwilliam Group. In 2020, Geoffrey led the acquisition of Medtech Global with co-investment from Advent Partners.

Geoffrey is a psychologist with a masters degree and doctorate in epidemiology and general practice and has worked as a researcher at Sydney University. Having aspired to change the world through academia, he realised he could change General Practice for the better, forever, by innovating health technology for primary health care.

Geoffrey is a past president of MSIA (Medical Software Industry Association), a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health (FAIDH) and a Fellow of Health Informatics New Zealand (FHiNZ).

Chrissie Patterson

Chrissie Patterson

Chrissie Patterson has been working in healthcare IT and software development for over 18 years across both the public and private sectors in New Zealand and Australia.

Chrissie joined the Medtech support team 20 years ago and has risen as a leader through QA, business analysis, release management, customer support management, product management into her current role as General Manager of Product.

Her experience in all aspects of the software delivery cycle working closely with public and private stakeholders in the health sector, gives Chrissie a unique understanding and perspective not only of software development, but of General Practice and Primary Care. 

As a pragmatic, problem-solver driven by a strong desire to make a difference, Chrissie leads the design and delivery of innovative health technology solutions for General Practice and Primary Care.

Jonny Noakes

Jonny Noakes

Jonny has over 10 years’ experience supporting businesses through their investment journey and joined Medtech in 2021 as our CFO. Jonny leads our Finance Team and is ultimately responsible for delivering our financial ambition.

During his career, Jonny has worked consistently with private equity investors in their portfolio companies to maximise operational and financial performance. He held a range of interim management roles within these portfolio businesses over five years in Europe before coming home to New Zealand.

Immediately prior to joining Medtech, Jonny was the CFO of Natural Habitats, New Zealand's largest landscaping business, where he led the organisation through a majority sale to ForthCo.

Jonny is a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand and Australia

Mark Smith

Mark Smith

Mark has over 30 years’ experience as a technology executive, covering a wide range of business contexts. 

Previously Head of Projects and Architecture at BNP Paribas Fortis he moved to a role as General Manager of Digital and Analytics at Fonterra. There he led a team in building and evolving a global digital ecosystem and capitalising on disruptive technologies, such as advanced analytics, IoT and AI. 

Mark moved to Medtech from Green Cross Health where, as CIO he was responsible for all aspects of technology strategy and operations across the GXH group of companies, including Pharmacy and Medical Centre divisions.

Mark specialises in defining business/technology strategy and building technology platforms and ecosystems at scale.

Lawrence Peterson

Lawrence Peterson

Lawrence has 25 years’ experience in health informatics specialising in primary and secondary care. 

Leading a project to move general and specialist practices from paper to fully electronic medical and administrative records, Lawrence saw first-hand how vital the seamless sharing of patient clinical records is for safe transfer of care.

At HealthLink he built a team focussed on deployment and training to enable the secure transfer of referrals, reports and discharge summaries for more than 15,000 practices in the Australian Heath ecosystem. Lawrence then went on to champion interoperability as Product Strategy Manager Australia at Clanwilliam Health. 

Lawrence now manages the Medtech Integration and Certified Partners Programmes and directs the Medtech ALEX® FHIR® API roadmap. It is his vision to deliver the seamless sharing of clinical data in a secure and consented manner between healthcare providers, healthcare organisations and consumers through technology and partnering.

Jeremy van de Klundert

Jeremy van de Klundert

Jeremy has been in executive management for over 15 years in the medical, travel and technology industries in New Zealand and internationally.  

He has held strategic planning and operational leadership roles with International SOS, Travelport and Sabre Pacific Flight Centre Group in UK, Europe, China, North Asia and Australia. 

Jeremy’s wealth of experience in the medical and technology sectors is instrumental in identifying opportunities for innovation and capturing new markets in primary care.

Charlotte Perry

Charlotte Perry

Charlotte has spent 20 years shaping People and Culture in the private, public and not for profit sectors. She has headed learning and development, culture transformation and employment relations in finance, retail and health organisations.

Charlotte joined Medtech in 2020 to lead a people-centred culture transformation in the recently acquired business.

With expertise in engagement, development and productivity through culture, Charlotte is passionate about continually developing a people-centred organisational culture and creating unique kaimahi experiences.
