Here are some tips and tricks to get the best out of your PMS:

Suppress Read Code Descriptions

‘Suppress Read description on ACC45s and Invoice/Statements’ is an option available under Setup > Clinical > Read > View Read > Main tab.

Ticking the ‘Suppress Read description on ACC45s and Invoice/Statements’ checkbox will prevent sensitive information related to Read Codes appearing on printouts.

If unticked, then the Read Code description will be printed.

Bulk Provider Update Utility

Use the Bulk Provider Update Utility available under Tools > Patient > Bulk Provider Update, to automatically update all patients from one Provider to another Provider within the practice without the need to contact Medtech Support for an SQL.

Access Insight Customer Portal

Once you have registered for the Insight Customer Portal, you can use the Medtech32 Single Sign On capability to launch Insight directly from within the Medtech32 application for easier access.

Enter your supplied User Name and Password for Insight into the relevant fields on File > User Preferences > Insight Setup screen, and then place the Insight Customer Portal icon onto your toolbar, or use the Help > Insight Customer Portal menu item.
